Title
Brooch or buckle pin
Description
English: A copper alloy pin from a brooch or buckle. The pin measures 33mm in length and is blunt at the pin end. The pin bends around itself at the other end to form a loop, which would have fitted around a bar or axle in order to attach to the main body of the brooch or buckle frame. This item could be from the Roman period onwards; unfortunatley, it cannot be securely dated as it was not found within an archaeological context.
