Brooch, Dragonesque
Description
English: Cast copper alloy brooch of 'Dragonesque' type with enamel inlay, the colours are difficult to determine owing to the presence of coloured corrosion products, yellow is present, perhaps with blue and red. The decoration is champleve consisting of a central four petal motif set within a square box. To either side of this is are converging bars forming triangular fields each terminating in a ring. Each of the fields contains a shaped, raised area. The ends of the brooch are missing
