Description
English: Drawing of an etruscan bronze mirror in the Bibliothèque Nationale (Paris)
Turan (Aphrodite) attends the birth of Ermania (Hermione) to Elinei (Helen) lying on a bed. Elachsantre (Paris) sits beside the bed. A sphinx flies in from the upper right. Underneath the bed there is also a footstool with sphinx protomes upon it. The pair of pointed-toe shoes hanging in the circular field belongs to the new mother.
