Description
English: A fragment of a copper-alloy palstave of Middle Bronze Age date (c. 1500-1150BC).

The piece has been broken at the top and bottom (in antiquity) and originates from just below the top side of the palstave. It is of rectangular section and has pronounced side ridges on both surfaces. At the top of one of the narrower outer faces is a broken loop. The artefact measures 30.1mm long, 29.9mm wide and 20mm thick. The weight is 62.91g.
