Bronze age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead
Description
English: An Early Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead, probably dating to c. 2400-1600 BC. A tertiary flake with no surviving cortex, triangular in plan with a sub-rectangular tang and with short barbs defined by semi-circular notches. Exhibiting short, low angle to semi-abrupt, sub-parallel retouch, but with the retouch to the left side of the proximal end of one face being more irregular, steppeed and invasive. This same face has a hinged removal below he point.

Dimensions: length 25.4mm; width 19.7mm; thickness 4.1mm; weight 1.91g.
