Title
Bronze Age thumbnail scraper
Description
English: A thumbnail scraper of late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date, c . 2200-1600 BC.

It is formed of a greyish white tertiary flake, with the colour changing from a mid grey to a paler grey from the left to the right hand side of the dorsal face. It is sub-oval in shape and D-shaped in cross section, with a slightly flattened plateau area as opposed to a dorsal spine. There is short scalar retouch present, at a semi-abrupt angle. The striking platform is clearly visible at the distal end.

Measurements: 26.8mm length, 28.9mm width, 11.1mm thickness, weight 7.8g.
