Bronze Age sword fragment
Description
English: A fragment of a copper-alloy sword of Bronze Age date. This piece has been identified as the tip from a late Bronze Age (c. 950 - 700BC) sword of possible Ewart Park or Guendlingen Type.

The fragment retains some of the original dark green patina but is corroded elsewhere. The blade is slender, tapering gradually from the break to the point. It is of thin section, one face being almost flat, the other having a more convex.

The piece measures 51mm long, 13.9mm wide and 3.4mm thick. The weight is 8.33g.
