Title |
Bronze Age spearhead (fragment) |
||
Description |
English: A copper-alloy fragment of a Mid to Late Bronze Age socketed spearhead.
On both surfaces the flat side angles downwards from the remaining portion of the central socket, terminating in sharp outer edge. The piece is broken on all sides, the patination of these breaks suggesting the damage occurred in antiquity. Length: 25.5mm; width: 15.2mm; thickness: 8.7mm; weight: 6.54g. |
