Title
Bronze Age spearhead (fragment)
Description
English: A fragment of a Mid to Late Bronze Age copper-alloy socketed spear head.

One vertical edge of the sub-rectangular fragment contains part of the conical socket. From here, the thickness tapers towards the sharp outer side. The small diameter of the socket, and its proximity to the outer edge, suggest that this piece is from near to the point of the spearhead. The piece measures 14mm long, 18.3mm wide and 5.1mm thick (at the socket end). It weighs 4.58g.
