Bronze Age scraper
Description
English: A thumbnail scraper of late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date, c . 2200-1600 BC.

The scraper is formed of a secondary flake of a pale olive/yellow grey flint, with a small amouunt of yellow white cortex retained at the distal end. There are areas of a paler grey almost white patina on both the dorsal and ventral face.  It is discoidal in plan and D-shaped in cross section with a marked dorsal spine. There is short scalar retouch present, at a semi-abrupt angle.

Measurements: 20.1mm in length, 21.3mm width, 9.4mm thickness, weight 4.46g.
