Title
Bronze Age lithic implement
Description
English: A small, sub-oval, flint, thumbnail scraper. The scraper has been made from a primary flake of honey-coloured flint. There is a clear bulb of percussion at the proximal end of the flake, with ripples of percussion across the ventral face. The dorsal face is largely covered in a thick, light brown cortex. The scraper has been pressure flaked around its entire edge with a small area of very abrupt pressure flaking around the proximal end.

These types of thumbnail scrapers date to the Early Bronze Age.
