Bronze Age flat axe
Description
English: A cast copper-alloy flat axe of the early Bronze Age, c 2500-2400 BC. The axe is a pointed oval in plan view with the thickest part on the blade end of the body, and sub-rectangular with a flaring blade in profile. There are no flanges, and the axe has a consistent surface corrosion with a deep green patina.
