Bronze Age chisel or axe fragment (drawing)
Description
English: Fragment of blade from chisel or axe made of copper or copper-alloy. Lacks obvious side casting seams so possibly from a small flat (or flanged?) axe. Both tips of the blade are missing. Some dark green/black patina on faces but mainly paler green due to corrosion products. All breaks are patinated pale/medium green, and are slightly worn. Some recent damage to one edge of main break. Surviving length 23 mm, surviving blade width 35 mm, maximum thickness 9 mm, weight 26.44g.
