Bronze Age chisel
Description
English: A complete bronze tanged and collared chisel/leather working knife, the blade is bent. It measures 59mm in length, the width of blade is 30mm in the width of the collar is 8mm.
 This knife is very short pointed tang of sub-rectangular section, expanding to a sub-square collar, expanding via concave sides to broad convex blade.  The blade edge is relatively sharp though all other edges are very rounded.  Shiny medium-dark green-brown patina all over.  
 
Brendan O'Connor listed 37 British examples and 3 from NE France in 1980 (cross-channel relations in the later Brinze Age, British Archaeology Report International Series, 91, Oxford). All forms of tanged leather-working knifes are found in O-Connors LBA 2 and became common LBA3 (the Ewart Park Phase) that is using current dating from between 1200 and 800 BC.
