Bronze Age barbed and tanged arrowhead
Description
English: Early Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead, c. 2,500 – 1,500BC The arrowhead is near-complete, but may have lost the tip and has a length of 23.63mm, a maximum width across the barbs of 21.42mm and has a weight of 1.7g. The ends of the barbs are squared and the tang is moderately pointed. The arrowhead is bi-facially worked by pressure flaking and has a maximum thickness of 4.83mm. The arrowhead is made on pale grey flint and is unpatinated.
