Description
English: A copper-alloy awl of probable Middle to Late Bronze Age date.

The awl consists of a rod which tapers either side of the widest point, located off-centre. The slightly longer side is of rectangular section and terminates in a wedge-shaped end; the other side is of sub-rectangular section, having slightly rounded corners, and terminates in a point.

Length: 52.7mm; maximum width: 4.1mm; weight: 3.96g.
