Bronze Age awl
Description
English: A copper-alloy awl of probable Bronze Age date. The widest point of the tool is at the centre; from here it tapers outwards in both directions. One side is of sub-square section and terminates in a curved point; the other side is of thinner, rectangular section and has a wedge-like end. The artefact measures 48.9mm long, up to 4.8mm wide and 4.3mm thick (at the middle). The weight is 3.79g.
