Title
Bronze Age Y-Shaped Tool Lithic Implement
Description
English: An Early Bronze Age 'Y-shaped' tool. The purpose of this tool type is not clear and this example is not particularly finely worked. The flint has a light blueish-grey patina and measures 59.83mm long, 36.78mm wide at the top of the 'Y' and 18.95mm wide at the tail. It is thickest at the tip of the tail (11.88mm), where there is steep but rough re-working around all edges, and 8.29mm thick at the top of the 'Y'. The tool weighs 22.92g.
