Description |
English: A fragment of a cast copper alloy socketed gouge of Late Bronze Age date (c. 1150 BC-c. 800 BC).
The fragment is the lower part and includes a small portion of the socket at the top and the cutting edge at the bottom. The break at the top is old and abraded. The object is mainly corroded and in poor condition. However where a patina has survived, it is matt mid-brown colour. 50.2 x 14.9 x 11.7mm. Weight: 27.56g. |
