Description
English: A fragment of a cast copper-alloy socketed axehead of Late Bronze Age date (1150 BC-800 BC).

This is a small part of the cutting edge with a recess at the top indicating the base of the socket. In side view it is 'V'-shaped. The object is severely corroded and in poor condition with a pitted and scarred surface. 13.7 x 36.9 x 6.8mm. Weight: 6.65g.
