Bronze Age Scraper Lithic Implement
Description
English: A flint extended end scraper of probable early Bronze Age date. The scraper has been made from a thick tertiary waste flake. At the proximal end is the striking platform and below this on the ventral surface is the bulb of percussion and slight radiating ripples. The flake has been retouched around the distal end and part of the way up both sides. The mottled light to dark brownish-grey flint has a mid-gloss patina.
