Title |
Bronze Age Scraper Lithic Implement |
||
Description |
English: A broken flint scraper made from a tertiary flake, probably of early Bronze Age date. At the proximal end is the bulb of percussion from which ripples radiate down the ventral surface. There is some damage and possibly some minor retouch around the bulb. Part of the distal end has been broken off the scraper. On the dorsal surface there are many flaking scars, including some invasive retouch towards the edge. This probably formerly extended around the missing edge. The dark slightly brownish grey flint has a mid gloss patina.
