Title
Bronze Age Scraper.
Description
English: An incomplete flint scraper of Early Bronze Age date (2150 BC – 1500 BC). Length 18.8mm, width 20.5mm and 6.7mm thick. Weight 2.50g.

The scraper is light grey with creamy mottling and has been produced on a tertiary flake with a striking platform. The ventral surface has a bulb of percussion with a percussion scar and associated ripples. There is no re-touch on this face. However at the distal end there is a short length of gloss. The dorsal surface is in the form of three main flake scars. The distal end of the dorsal surface has been re-touched. This sub-parallel re-touch is short and the angle is mainly abrupt.

The implement is in good condition although a small length of the distal end is in the form of a modern break.
