Title
Bronze Age Lithic Implement Waste Flake
Description
English: Flint waste flake. Tertiary flake, probably from blade manufacture. At the distal end is a large striking platform. Ventrally there is a broad bulb of percussion and marked waves of percussion. There is a small flaking scar on the bulb. The dorsal surface has several elongate flaking scars. The end of the flake has been snapped off in antiquity (probably to make a blade). The flint is a light grey brown with large white mottles. It has a glossy milky patina.
