Title
Bronze Age End Scraper
Description
English: A flint end scraper which probably dates from the early Bronze Age. The scraper has been made from a primary flake and nodule cortex covers much of the dorsal surface. At the proximal end is the striking platform, below which on the ventral side is the bulb of percussion, a prounuced bulbar scar and slight ripples which radiate for the whole length of the scraper. The distal end has been retouched. There is also some edge damage on the lateral edges. The mottled light and mid grey flint has a low gloss patina.
