Title |
Bronze Age Axehead fragment |
||
Description |
English: A fragment of a late bronze-age socketed axehead comprising part of the curved cutting edge of the axe with the very base of the socket also surviving. The break looks to have occurred in antiquity as all edges are smooth and well worn, no traces of the original surface survive. The artefact is a pale green-grey colour overall. |
