Description |
English: A fragment of a socketed axehead of South-Eastern Class A1, dating to the Ewart Park phase of the Late Bronze Age, 1000-800BC. The axe has a double mouth-moulding and a fragment of one side and one face and the loop are intact intact. Dark gold patina, chipped on loop. Scar of one casting jet. The fragment is 27.15mm long, is 22.75mm deep at the mouth, the breadth of the loop is 7.25mm and it weighs 18.62g. |
