Description |
English: An almost complete Late Bronze Age tanged and shouldered knife. The blade is lentoid in section and tapers gently with a small longitudinal ridge at the centre of the blade on each side. The blade edges are intact on both sides. There is a squared off extension at the base of the shank, a narrow, rectangular-sectioned shank with the upper end broken. The knife is 135.7mm long, 2-2.3mm thick, the width of the shaft is 5.75-11.6mm, the width of the blade is 23.7mm and it weighs 30.6g. |
