Title
Bronze Age (Probably) End Scraper
Description
English: A possible crude flint end scraper of probable early Bronze Age date. The scraper has been made from a secondary flake (c. 5% cortex remaining on the dorsal surface) of opaque light to dark grey flint. It is fresh and complete (or near complete). The bulb of percussion is well-defined and there are distinct ripples on the ventral surface, which suggest the use of a hard hammer. There are two flake removals which have been struck from the ventral surface which could indicate this is a crude scraper.
