English: Photograph of the statement of purpose of the Congress of the Colony of New Hampshire, January 5, 1776, chosen and appointed by the free suffrages of the people of the said colony. Printed at Portsmouth, New Hampshire. References the sudden departure of Governor John Wentworth. Courtesy of The Library of Congress, Washington, D.C. Note that the name is misnomer; this is not a broadside, being printed on both sides and multiple pages.
