c/n 1057. Built 1977. Aurigny’s last Trislander, now finally retired after 34 years of service with the airline. In fact, this Trislander has ONLY ever flown for Aurigny! On Wednesday 21st June she was flown to Duxford to join the British Airliner Collection, under the care of the Duxford Aviation Society. Four days later she was still sitting out on the ‘Jet Pan’ next to familiar Duxford resident B-17 “Sally B”. My first ever flight was in a Trislander (G-BDOS) so I have a real affection for this quirky British airliner! The type now remains in service only in Guyana and Puerto Rico, according to Wikipedia.
