Description Statue of a horse with metal bridle from the Mausoleum of Helicarnassus. The tag on the exhibit reads: "Marble forepart of a colossal chariot horse from the qudriga. About 350 BC. Found in several pieces outside the northern wall, made from Pentelic Marble. GR 1857.12-20.238 (Sculpture 1002)" see BM database entry for more details.
