Description
English: Lieutenant John McMurray RAN, of Sydney, NSW, Intelligence Officer attached to the British Landing Force inspecting the Japanese torpedo tubes installed on the recaptured British destroyer HMS Thracian. This ship which was captured in Singapore by the Japanese was boarded by an Australian boarding party from HMAS Napier and HMAS Nizam in the Yokosuka Naval Base.
