| Description | 91D10108 is an Alexander (Belfast) bodied Leyland Olympian which was new to Dublin Bus as fleetnumber RH108. This bus is now with British Bus Company, Santee, California and is seen arriving at the San Diego County Fair. This bus now has licence plate number 00239T1 and was operated in the UK by Halifax Joint Committee as J829CEV but was registered ATK157W adopting the identity of a Leyland Atlantean to allow it to be imported into the USA as a vehicle under 25 years old. Note the windows that have been removed to provide much needed ventilation in the heat of California- if they had that modification in Dublin they would have frozen to death and the local lunatics would have been riding on the roof on the 77A... |
