Description
English: British Red Cross tends wounded in Harar.
The first convoy of sixteen lorries sent out by the British Red Cross, went into action immediatly on their arrival in Harar, bringing in and tending Abyssinians wounded and sent back from the front. The convaoy is led by Mr. A. Melly, a young London doctor, and natives of Kenya Colony and Somalis from Berbera accompanied the convoy to act as orderlies.
