Summary

[edit]
Description A view up Briggate from its junction at Boar Lane (looking Northwards towards The Headrow). The site of the former Burton Arcade (as well as Burger King and Pizza Hut) can be seen to the left, which is being developed into a new shopping centre, and hence the lower end of Briggate is a bit of a mess at the moment. Taken on the afternoon of Tuesday the 4th of May 2010. Note the pedestrian crossing which appears to be completely redundant being as Briggate is pedestrianised, I dare say they're used at night when goods vehicles are allowed on.
