Sinclair, 172nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team commander, places the brigade combat patch on the sleeve of a Soldier's right arm during a combat patch ceremony at the brigade headquarters on Forward Operating Base Kalsu, Jan 1. The patch is a symbol of the Soldier's dedication to the unit during wartime.
