English: Bridleway Through Shipwrights Wood. Castle point council claim this to be probably the most beautiful and varied of the woods of south east Essex. It consists of two fragments of ancient woodland; Shipwrights and Jarvis woods, which are separated by an earth bank. There is a meadow rich in wild flowers; including orchids to the north west of the wood. |
