| Description |
English: Bridleway. A thin strip of woodland (part of Padley Wood) runs along the eastern edge of the main line railway between Chesterfield (ahead, northwards) and Alfreton (southwards).
This photograph is looking northward into the southern end of the woodland near to a point where the bridleway (on the left) leaves fields to cross a bridge over the railway (ahead, left side of picture). On the right a 405674 leads ahead (northward) through the woodland to join a public footpath at SK 408 621. This footpath shows every sign of being well used over a long period of time but does not appear on modern OS maps. From near this point on the right there is a view of 404529 buildings.
