Description
English: A humble Plaxton Pointer MPD at Bridgwater bus station in 2017, but look closer and some of its history becomes apparent. It was delivered to First Bristol in 2000 and carried their fleet number 203 while working on local services in the north of the city. It was renumbered 43823 in First Group's national numbering scheme and then came down to Somerset to work services between Bridgwater and Williton. It was then transferred to Taunton and rebranded as one of The Buses of Taunton for town services. In 2016 it was withdrawn but pressed back into service at Bridgwater when local operator Webberbus suddenly ceased trading. It's logo has now been changed to read The Buses of Somerset but the strap line above the windows still proclaims 'frequent connections for Somerset's county town'.
