| Description |
English: Bridges, Old Exeter Road The far bridge, behind the most distant car, is Teign Bridge, the river crossing. The purpose of the redundant near bridge can't be deduced on the ground; perhaps it was an access between the claypits on each side of the road. On the left is a gate into Lower Marsh Quarry, which appears to have been left to nature as far as can be seen. Plan 5, dated 2000, in the Bovey Basin Strategy names it Zitherixon and identifies it as an area for long-term working, ie: 15 years plus. |
