English: Bridge Construction Memorial Plaque This plaque reads "THIS BRIDGE IS THE FIRST BRIDGE BUILT IN FERRO CONCRETE IN GREAT BRITAIN, "HENNEBIQUE" SYSTEM. CONSTRUCTED BY ROSE, DOWNS & THOMPSON LTD. HULL, IN 1902" The bridge in question is not the nearby North Bridge over the River Hull but one over the former Foredyke Stream which has now been filled-in.
