English: Bride Parish Church, Isle of Man. The Kirk Bride Church is dedicated to St. Bridget. The original Church dated from around 1200. It was rebuilt and consecrated in 1876 by Bishop Selwyn. The Architect was Joseph Henry Christian. The Adam and Eve stone, which once formed part of the Chancel floor, is now on an inside wall. This is just one of six in the British Isles. |
