This picturesque arch is situated at the dividing point of the Middle or Muckross Lake and the Lower Lake or Lough Leane, and passing under it, the visitor finds himself in that charming corner known as Clena Bay. The Lower Lake abounds in beautiful scenery and attracts many visitors to its shores. it is over five miles long and about three miles broad. |
