English: Army totaled 34 shots on goal, but Penn State goalie P.J. Musico shut down the Black Knights’ in the 5-0 loss, Oct. 26, West Point, N.Y. Prior to the game, the Atlantic Hockey Association honored Army's Ryan Leets and Cheyne Rocha. League Commissioner Bob DeGregorio was on hand to present the seniors with their Student Athletes of the Year award.
Leets, from Kentwood, Mich., earned a 4.04 grade-point average as a Civil Engineering major. Rocha, an Engineering Management major from Rye, N.H., registered a 4.17 GPA. Leets and Rocha were among the 18 Army hockey players named to the Atlantic Hockey All Academic Team last season. Army used two goalies. Rob Tadazak started and made 18 saves in two-plus periods of action while Leets made 22 third-period saves. Photo by Tommy Gilligan/USMA PAO |
