Turnagain Pass is a favorite of Alaska's backcountry skiers. This photo was taken right after a massive snowfall. There was so much powder that it was extremely difficult to climb up - and almost impossible to even ski down. There were places where you could ski from tree to tree, several feet off the "ground," on the massive clumps of snow. winterbear.com |
