Deutsch: Vorderseite: GOTT SEGNE HANDEL U. SCHIFFAHRT. Umschrift, Ansicht der Bremer Börse, im Abschnitt Wappen und links und rechts davon Eichenlaub. Unten rechts die Signatur BR (Heinrich Friedrich Brehmer).

Rückseite: GEDENKTHALER / ZUR / ERÖFFNUNGS/FEIER DER NEUEN / BÖRSE / IN BREMEN / AM 5 NOVEMB. / 1864. Zwischen zwei unten zum Kranz gebundenen Eichenzweigen die Aufschrift. Unten das Münzzeichen B für Hannover, oben das Hanseatenkreuz.

Kommentar: Dieser Gedenktaler ohne Kurswert ist von der Bremer Handelskammer in Auftrag gegeben und in der Münze zu Hannover durch den Münzmeister Theodor Wilhelm Brüel nach Stempeln von Heinrich Friedrich Brehmer geprägt worden. Einige Exemplare wurden auch in Gold hergestellt.
