English: Brecon Mountain Railway The northern limit of current operations is the run-round loop near Dol-y-Gaer.
Locomotive number 2, a 1930-built Baldwin 4-6-2 goes forward to clear the points, before reversing to run round its train. The line, currently being extended north, continues on through Dol-y-Gaer to the site of a new station at Torpantau, but no trains are presently running north of this point. |
