Summary

[edit]
Description Picture of the memorial to three policemen killed by gunmen in August 1966 on Braybrook Street, London W12. The large building which dominates the skyline in the centre and centre-left of the picture is HMP Wormwood Scrubs. This shows the proximity to the murder site to the prison, giving some idea of why the policemen were suspicious of an idling van.
