English: Telegram dated 29 April 1918 sent to Lily Braun, Erlenweg at Zehlendorf near Berlin: "lt. [Lieutenant] braun died in action on 29 [april 1918] due to a bull's-eye caused by a grenade. He will be buried in bayonvillers. chaser regt [Regiment] 13."
Deutsch: Telegramm von 29. April 1918 an Lily Braun, Erlenweg, Zehlendorf bei Berlin, aufgenommen am 30. April 1918 im Amt Zehlendorf, Wannseebahn. Transkription: „lt. [Leutnant] braun am 29 durch granatvolltreffer gefallen wird in bayonvillers beigesetzt. jäger regt [Regiment] 13.“
